Mixed-use development featuring housing, shops and offices on the site of the former Citroën garage.
As part of the redevelopment of the Foundries district, Le Nant’île is located just steps from the tram (lines 2 and 3) and Chronobus C5, at the corner of Boulevard Vincent-Gâche and Boulevard des Martyrs-Nantais-de-la-Résistance. Work on the development will begin in the first quarter of 2016, with delivery scheduled for early 2018.
This mixed-use development includes:
- 11,560 sq. m of apartments,
- 2,900 sq. m of office space,
- 2,033 sq. m of retail space.
The 174 apartments, ranging from studios to 4-bedrooms, will be divided as follows:
- 119 open market apartments,
- 42 social rent apartments,
- 13 apartments for social home ownership managed by Atlantique Habitations.
Likewise, the development will feature new pedestrian paths that will connect the Foundries Garden neighbourhood to the Boulevard des Martyrs-Nantais, a main artery.
This will complete the redevelopment of the former Foundries district, which began in 2008. Several real estate developments surrounded by new public spaces have been built in this iconic district.
